Growth Path is a relational two-step journey where you can learn more about the church, become a member, discover your purpose, and join the Build Team.

Step 1 will be offered every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the month during the 10:30 am service.

Step 2 will be offered every 2nd and 3rd Sunday of the month during the 10:30 am service.

In Katy ISD, there are 19 Title 1 elementary schools, which indicates a significant number of the students are on free/reduced lunch and in need of financial support.  Operation Back 2 School helps supply kids with the essentials for attending school, building confidence, and building success for their futures.

Newlands Church is partnering with Compassion Katy to provide backpacks and school supplies for kids in our community.  After registering here, pickup an empty backpack on one of the Sundays listed below, fill it with all the items on the enclosed list, and return it to church.  Backpacks will be distributed in early August at the Merrill Center as part of Compassion Katy's event. Click here to sign up.

Traction Youth between 6th-12th grade are invited to join us for an incredible weekend at our annual Traction Weekend (previously Summer Weekend)! The heart for this weekend is to get us out of our “normal” rhythm, have an extended opportunity to encounter the presence of God, and to enjoy gaining traction in our faith! It will be two full days jam-packed with fun, team games, incredible services, powerful worship, and friendship!

Child dedication is a moment in which parents make a commitment before the Lord to raise their child according to God’s Word and God’s ways (1 Samuel 1:11, 26–28).

We will take time during our regular weekend services to invite registered parents and children up to the platform for a special moment of prayer and dedication.

We know summer is a time for family fun, and we want to set aside time to gather as one large Newlands Church Family! Come join us on July 25th at 6:30 pm for a time of community and fun at Katy City Park.

Join us at the Newlands Katy Location on Friday, August 1, for our first Newlands Men's Night. We'll enjoy live worship, an inspiring message from Pastor Ethan, food, games, and tons of fun!  Bring some friends and connect with other guys from the Newlands family. We'll also be introducing our fall men's group leaders, and signups will be live, so you can jump right into a community. Tickets are $15 per person in advance and $20 at the door.
